My special students need supplementary interesting and engaging materials to assist in learning. I work with a group of Kindergarten through third grade students with various special needs. The Who Was Walt Disney books will enable me to do small group literary study and biography reports with my students. I did this last year but didn't have enough books for each of my students to have their own copy. The other materials will allow me to work with my students in achieving their individual goals and build their social skills and confidence. The multiplication fact tower will provide a fun interactive tool for my students to practice their math facts. The sensory sandpaper letters will allow my students with ADHD and sensory needs to learn through tactile engagement. The good manners flash cards are an excellent way to teach social skills to my students will autism. Finally, the mini timer with visual tracking will enable my students with attention issues and on task behavior a method to encourage work completion.
