My students need more "brain food" (books). Our school has limited leveled books for my students to read. We have a high number of low income students that need access to more books to help them achieve in school. There is a strong correlation between a child's ability to read and academic performance. Children must have strong reading skills to succeed and thrive in school. I ask my students to read at home every night for at least 20 minutes. By asking them to do this they are running out of books to reading in our small book room. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
