By purchasing these games I will be able to add some new math and reading centers to my classroom. These will help my students have fun while learning. All of these games reinforce concepts learned in the classroom and are aligned to the common core. These games will be placed at centers that students can do independently while I'm working with small groups or struggling students. These games are also great for parent volunteers to play with the students. Unfortunately we are not given funds to purchase things like this for our students. I would love to have game based centers to use during my guided reading groups and guided math groups. I feel the more tools I have to teach with the better off my students are. I also would like to implement flexible seating using the floor seats. In my first grade class I feel the kids need to be able to move around and work in different area around the classroom using the floor seats and soft seats. These seats give students the flexibility to choose the space they would like to work in that day.
