These flexible seating options will allow students to choose a seat that will best help them learn. We have learned so much about how everyone learns differently; however, when it comes to how they sit and learn, we treat them the same. The yoga balls, wiggle stools, and seats will allow students to move the way they need to in order to learn. My students are noticeably more engaged when they are given the choice of where they want to work. These pieces will be a great addition to a few flexible seating options already in use in the classroom. The chair cushions will provide additional comfy seating options as students can choose to sit on the floor to learn. I have witnessed how powerful choice can be to 5th graders and how making choices will prepare them for their futures.
