The students in the classroom age ranges from three years of age to five years of age. They are all very creative, unique, and willing to learn new things. The children are from different cultural backgrounds. The majority of the children are from low income based parents, and single parenting households. The majority of the students also have siblings and other extended family members. The classroom is clean, neat, and organized. The students feel safe and accepted in the classroom. The students follows the Head Start curriculum combined with the Indiana Foundations and High Scope guidelines. The classroom is a safe, inviting and is a rich environment for the children as well as for the parents. The parents are free to volunteer in the classroom during opening hours. The have a guide line and list of activities they can do with the children. The classroom also have three to four teachers.
