In Kindergarten, most of our learning is through whole group instruction. During this time the students need to be able to view what is being taught and interact with materials. With the teaching easel, the lessons will be more interactive with the dry erase and magnetic board. The bins at the bottom will hold manipulatives to be used each day. I will be able to model correct handwriting and the students will be able to show off how much they are learning. Studies show the more the students are engaged in their learning they are more likely to retain the information.
