I want my students to have experiences that are hands-on and include opportunities to work together, problem solve, think critically, and ultimately result in a joy of learning. The items I have selected for purchase include small robots, invention and discovery kits, and fundamentals of circuitry. Students will work in small groups and have multiple opportunities to interact with each of the items requested. These STEM experiences will elicit conversations, engagement, and provide them with the background knowledge that can be transferred across the curriculum. Photos will be taken and posted on our classroom Twitter and SeeSaw accounts to share with their families and others.
