This carpet will make a difference in my classroom because it will allow all my students to have their own personal space. We dance a lot and this rug will allow enough space for the students to express themselves in their own individual way. During large group, this MAGIC rug will allow for the student's to use their imagination and go to the place of our story for that day. Another way this rug will be used will be through exploring the letters and numbers. Letter recognition and number recognition are key to their success in Kindergarten. For example; we can play I am sitting on letter A who is sitting on letter ____. The same can be done with the numbers.
