The plain green rug we sit on to read, sing, and learn together was one that I found second hand. A new, interactive carpet with colors and shapes would not only serve as a decent place to sit, but also be a interactive part of our daily lessons. It is my hope that with your donation, my students will feel special by having a new, really cool place to learn. This carpet will be an important aspect of our classroom community. The new addition to our classroom will inspire new learning games and activities as the children come to my class to prepare for first grade.
