The different cushions I am asking for will allow my scholars to have flexible seating around the classroom, to be able to focus, because they will be comfortable where they are sitting. It also allows for seating on the floor to work in small groups in literacy centers or small class projects. During Guided reading my scholars will be using the highlighter strips to read independently Knowledge needs preparation. I am asking for daily supplies for my scholars to be able to complete reading tasks both independently and in groups while enjoying learning and creating their literacy skills. The plastic bins, label maker and hole punch will be used my me, the teacher, in order to organize monthly lesson plans so they are easily accessible by the classroom aide and myself to make it ready since there will not be much down time with a class of Kindergarten scholars. I have my scholars sit in small groups which is where the different supply caddies come into play in my classroom. Every morning I have a supply manager at each group go and get the supply caddies for their group so they are fully prepared for the tasks that day. Each caddy will have scissors for each scholar, pencils, glue and erasers. I am asking for a 36 slot organizer to become my students' personal mailboxes, to keep the important notices from me to go home and all be in one place. Lastly, the highlighter strips are for guided reading centers. Some scholars need extra assistance in following in their place in the guided reading station. The highlighter strips helps them keep their place and helps the young readers become more fluent in their reading skills. Please help support the future minds!
