I use a reading program with my students that focuses on specific phonetic elements or spelling patterns when reading and writing. I am asking for two different sets of Sound Out Chapter Books. My students will read these books repeatedly to build fluency and accuracy. My students need books that interest them, but also have an emphasis on the sound they are learning to read or write. I am constantly on the go in my building. I have an office for planning and storage. I teach in an inclusive environment which means students stay with their peers all day and I come to them to teach them in a small group within their grade-level classroom. I have to push all my supplies and materials on a small cart with a very small white board. The requested Store & Display Teaching Cart is a larger cart with a whiteboard that will allow for better visual representation in my lessons and more storage for books and supplies for students. By donating to my project I will be able to offer a wider variety of reading material to my students, and also create an environment within our small groups that provides for a larger visual and more storage for our materials and supplies.
