Adding volleyball to our physical education program will allow us to teach the children a team sport that they almost never get the opportunity to play. These balls are made specifically for children aged 12 and under. They are lighter and softer so that our young athletes can have fun learning the game without stinging their hands. The bags will help us to organize and store the volleyballs. Volleyball is a great way to encourage teamwork and good sportsmanship! Students will learn the basic skills of volleyball through drills and practice during PE class and recess, all leading up to playing actual games! Once the students understand the game and can play, we can set up "Family Fun Fitness Nights" where students can challenge their "Grown-up" to a friendly game of volleyball! We can even have a 5th grade challenge "Teacher/Student" competition before they graduate! Volleyball is a fun way to bring the entire school community together.
