Having these supplies will make a great difference for our College Signing Day celebration this May. We will use these items as raffle prizes for our senior students. On College Signing Day, we hold a breakfast where we celebrate our seniors' post-secondary plans. Part of the celebration includes raffling off prizes as we celebrate each senior's hard work throughout the year. Students are eligible to earn raffle tickets throughout the school year by presenting proof of FAFSA completion from the Federal Government. (An incentive for families to complete their FAFSA) Students who are not college -bound can earn raffle tickets by attending the College Signing Day breakfast - each student who attends the breakfast will be given one raffle ticket. During this breakfast each senior also has the opportunity to share their post-secondary plan with each other and the entire school building. All seniors and their parents are invited to attend. Many of our students are lower income/first generation students and supplies such as these will be very helpful for them as they prepare for dorm life at college.
