It is a proven fact that students will learn best when they are able to get their wiggles out with more than just two short recesses a day. In a classroom with flexible seating, the students are able to move and wiggle within their own space. They are able to use their core muscles and wiggle and wobble with all different seating options such as Wobble chairs, cushions, and beanbag chairs. Each student learns according to their own learning styles, and I feel that when you hinder that ability they are unable to concentrate and learn to their full potential. When flexible seating is offered to the students, and they are able to choose the way they sit for the day or for an hour at a time, they will give you more of their attention and effort.
