Whether it's visual, auditory, or tactile, these sensory items will be used by my students to help them calm down or relax the senses. By donating to my project, you will not only help these students learn how to self regulate their sensory needs, you will also be helping them be successful academically. Students with autism often struggle to self regulate their sensory needs and that impacts their ability to learn. These items, especially the SensoryMoon will help provide my students with a sensory diet to meet their specialized needs. Also the use of a 'chewy' necklace can be used without distraction while they are doing academic tasks.

About my class
