The Superior Central Cougars football team consists of two programs -- the 7th and 8th grade junior high program and the 9th-12th varsity program. We play 8-player football in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and are a completely self-funded program. All of the costs of the programs -- from transportation to equipment to ref fees and more -- come from fundraising efforts. Our coaches are all 100-percent volunteer, and our workers at the game all volunteer their time as well.
