With these tablets, we hope to introduce an interactive STEM lab that will give students opportunities to participate in hands-on projects. Our hope is that exposure to exciting STEM projects will give students access to crucial science and math opportunities, while at the same time, facilitates positive experiences that will motivate them to continue their education or even a career in a STEM-related field. Reading is another area we hope to improve with access to tablets. Establishing a reading lab would be beneficial to struggling readers as well as our English Language Learners. Our online reading labs would include read along books and give access to translated books for our English Language Learners.
