When implementing personalized learning (PL) not all students are at the same level, and as a teacher I'm responsible to facilitate the resources each individual student requires to meet their independent needs. Student agency plays a very important role in a PL classroom. Students are expected to be accountable for their own learning so they become responsible life learners. A TEKS content file system that includes different level activities will give students easy access to what they need to become independent learners and create student agency in a PL environment. Filing crates and folders are some the materials I need to create this TEKS file system where I can facilitate resources, lessons, and activities that students can help themselves to.
