With this project, my students will get a new printer and ink to help maximize instructional time to accelerate student achievement. My students follow a personalized path that accelerates their reading skills each day. They work independently on the READ 180 Universal Student Application and follow a personalized learning path. They also engage in content-rich texts to which they can apply their newly acquired vocabulary and comprehension skills as well as participate in small-group learning that is targeted, data-driven instruction unique to their learning needs. The printer and ink will allow us to print embedded - printable tools within this Learning Model that will help students excel. The printer will also allow us to go beyond the screen and share printed copies of student work, achievements, and provide their families with real-time copies of student progress and success. Place my student's in the driver's seat and help them visualize their own personalized reading journey. We are in great need of a color printer and ink cartridges. This new printer will help connect content from their learning path to support all of my students in developing critical 21st-century knowledge required for college and career. It will be used daily to engage and motivate my students and facilitate a greater knowledge acquisition. I would also use this color printer to printer certificates and awards to motivate and affirm my students' success. The printer will allow us to build reading and writing reciprocity. It will provide my students with printed point-of-use Graphic Organizers, QuickWrites, Reading Logs, Vocabulary support, rubrics aligned with their learning path, progress monitoring tools, and unprecedented support tools for monitoring learning and performance for each individual student.
