Acquiring a set of tablets for the Special Education Department will allow for various styles of enrichment and remediation to take place. It is important that our kids be able to have access to what they need. It is also very important that we gain and keep the interests of the children while in the learning environment. Many of our children have learning disabilities associated with Math and English. Gaining access to different programs and attempting differentiated tasks will allow for a more productive learning environment. We only have a limited amount of computer equipment per school, so it is necessary to find alternative ways to provide the students with what they need.
