I strive to teach my students how much fun working with numbers can be. There is so much depth in learning math. No matter what level students come into my class with, they'll leave with a passion for solving challenging problems using multiple math tools I introduce them to. I use the Building Thinking Classrooms strategy with students and will be providing my class with multiple opportunities to perform the ancillary functions of problem solving. The students will be shown math in sports, food, money, and other everyday activities that factor into our daily routines. We will dive into patterns, perceived tricks of operations as well as the tried and true ways to accomplish an end product of confidence with numbers.
