I have each student set up an interactive notebook for each semester of class. Most students cannot afford to purchase their own and so I usually buy them over the summer with my own money. Having this funded would GREATLY decrease the money I am spending on this. Interactive notebooks are a way for students to organize all their work for a specific subject into one notebook and stay up to date on work. The amount of assignments that go unsubmitted has decreased dramatically since I have been utilizing this method of organizing student work. Overall grades have improved and students don't lose papers as often as they used to.I love it, but I need to supply each student with their own notebook in order to be able to use this method.
