Scholastic and Story Works magazines will provide my students with opportunities to make real world connections to the world around them. Using these magazines as a resource will help all of my students be engaged readers, critical thinkers and global citizens! I would like these to use in my weekly reading groups to engage and develop community conversations. The students love to connect, debate, analyze and question, all which the articles in these magazines provide. These magazines also provide an opportunity for my students to read from a different text material, which is an important skill for them to practice to become life long learners.
