My students are all amazing kids that really need the freedom and flexibility of reading around the classroom. The flex seating will be an amazing addition to the room and let the students try out different places to find their best reading spot! I teach science, as well, and the LEGO sets will be awesome for STEM activities and team building. Our goal for 5th grade is collaboration and team work. Having extra reading materials that are more current will get the students excited to read. I plan on having a “book tasting” with them if my project is funded!
