I am looking for funding for 2 different types of items that will benefit all of my students in math. Hard, uncomfortable seating, who needs it?! Do you ever get sick of sitting in the same chair? I would love to give my students options of comfortable seating in my classroom. My students would have the option to: kneel at a table, sit on a wiggly stool, have a comfy cushion on their seat, or sit in a chair that wheels them to a comfortable place. Students will have a choice of what makes them comfortable and helps them stay most engaged in the lesson. Sometimes math can be a mystery. What better way to check for student understanding than to do a math review where students will need to figure out clues to unlock a box. Students will be given numerous math clues to see which group can solve the problems and unlock ALL the locks, and be the first to open their box. To make this a whole class activity, I am asking for several kinds of locks.
