They say it takes a village to raise a child, well it also takes one to educate a classroom! My students come from an area with a high level of poverty. Over 90% of them speak English as a second language. My ELL students bring with them their own experiences which makes our classroom a place to grow,have fun,and learn about new cultures. They need your support in order to become the leaders of tomorrow. My goal is to make them believe in themselves and what they can accomplish. I want them to believe in humanity and to feel the support from everyone. In order for them to become the givers of tomorrow they have to receive. My role as an educater is to teach and also to empower them to accomplish many things academically and socially. Everyday is a new day to explore new things and unlock new experiences. Watching them learn and seeing them excited to experience with new things makes my job the most rewarding one!
