The students in my school need books that are on their current reading level. Many of the students are below grade level in reading, and I would like to provide them with books that are on their own independent reading level. The books would be used for guided reading centers, and for independent reading in my classroom library. I am a second year teacher moving from third grade to second grade. I want to expand my classroom library and get more second grade level books for my new students. Diversifying my classroom library will allow me to provide books for multiple reading levels, and interest levels of my new students.
