Students in today's world are on the GO! As teachers, we are always trying to find ways to stimulate their minds. In order to do that, I need to stimulate their bodies by getting them up and moving frequently. However, sitting in a chair, even for little periods of time, can be quite difficult for many students. When your body is dormant, your brain can be too! Offering these bouncy bands on their chairs, and stools as an option for seating, will allow students to engage their bodies so that their brains are engaged. I love that these bands attach to regular chairs so that students have the option to use them or not. They will also allow students to move their bodies without disrupting others with great movements or sound. I already have a few stools in my classroom, but would love a few more. Students love sitting, leaning, half-standing, etc. on these stools while they work. These bands and stools will be phenomenal tools to get my students moving while learning! Our class motto is, "If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are DETERMINED to learn, no one can stop you!" Adding these flexible seating options to my classroom will allow students to be determined to learn!
