I am taking a two-week workshop over the summer through the AMTA to learn about using whiteboards to better teach science, and I want to be ready to start on day one. I'm excited to make my classes more interactive and feel these white boards will help encourage great group discussions! The white boards will help foster an environment of collaboration in my chemistry classroom. Students will be using the white boards to share experimental data, make predictions about chemical phenomena, and model chemistry topics. Students will graph, draw, and calculate in groups to understand chemistry topics. My students will have the opportunity to facilitate their learning of chemistry by sharing their ideas via white boards.
