My student will no longer feel frustrated when it comes to communicating with his classmates. He will be able to respond and collaborate at the same level as his peers. We would use the device to allow the student to communicate with adults and teachers. He would use it playing games, with assessments, during the lesson and even for basic needs. I can switch out the pictures throughout the day and this would be more authentic then using the same basic pictures throughout the school day like we have been doing. I do not want to continue to wait months for this student to get what he needs right now. I want him to like school and enjoy being there instead of feeling frustrated to the point of tears everyday. I want to advocate for him and get him what he needs in order to be successful.
