I hope to work towards creating a classroom library full of high-interest books. We have a daily independent reading time that exists to facilitate a love of reading. Nothing aids the success of this time more than access to a diverse group of texts. I want them to have at their fingertips the graphic novels that the school library is always out of and the next book in the series they are loving. Every kid can experience reading for pleasure and its benefits we just need to get the right book in their hands!

About my class
