The headphones will allow my students to participate in technology-related learning activities without disturbing or distracting other peers. It gets very loud in the classroom when multiple computers and the listening center are playing at the same time. Students are unable to hear directions and/or the learning activities on their computers or at the listening center. My students have high levels of distractibility and maintaining attention to any activity is a challenging task. Therefore, they become very distracted by hearing other noises when they are trying to work. Individual headphones will take away this issue and allow all of my students to learn and participate with less distractions, thus allowing them to gain new skills through technology-related activities!
