Problem solving is part of our daily lives. Learning how to code can teach students how to analyze and approach problem solving in various ways. Coding can prepare students for solving not just academic problems but social-emotional problems also. Having opportunities to code will open their minds to thinking out of the box as well as opportunities to cooperate with their peers to arrive at a solution to common problem. Through Code.org and other programs, students will learn to code and create their own world. Cell phones, computers, tablets, ipads, tech, tech, tech. Why should students be driven by technology? Well, they don't have to be. Teaching students how to code, will allow them to realize their creative potential. With Code.org and access to technology, students can drive technology in the present and beyond. "Girl Code 4 Life."
