For this project I am looking to introduce my curious kids to some new ways to work with their hands. We start each day with what is called a soft start, which is designed to give kids a chance to ease into their day, and have some choice in what they do with their time. My kids love to build and draw. They truly are little makers. I want to give them some new options beyond building blocks, and following drawing tutorials online. Hobbies enrich our lives in so many ways so the materials I am asking for will introduce them to things like painting, origami, knot tying, crochet and knitting. I was looking for things the kids could use for short periods of time and come back to it each day and keep working on it bit by bit. I know they will love to explore these new handicrafts.
