I teach 3rd grade ELA in a small school in Louisiana. My students are very capable but lack adequate resources to help them fully meet their educational goals. Our school is a Title I school, so many students haven’t had enough exposure to help them with their reading and writing. My students need to be exposed to a balance of informational and literary texts so that they can become more knowledgeable to have discussions with their peers and express themselves through writing. I am asking for donations for complex, leveled readers so that students can practice with engaging text to become better readers and writers. I am also asking for donations for school supplies that will aid students in practicing their writing skills. Please help us to meet our educational goals!
