The Bouncy Bands will make a difference in my students' learning because they will be able to move while they work and listen in class. I teach reading and writing to 80 6th graders. My school is on a block schedule, so I only see them every other day. Therefore, it is very important that I have the students' full concentration in class. I volunteered to have the inclusion students who suffer from several different health issues. Sitting still for 94 minutes can be very challenging for students, but with the Bouncy Bands, it will help them release energy as needed in order to stay focused in class to do their best work. In addition, the bands will help the students feel calmer when testing. Students will love the tactile sensation and movement instead of feeling forced to sit still for hours.
