My students are in need of a variety of books at different levels. My students are always eager and excited to read new books, but my students are limited in their book selection because there are a limited number of authors and levels of books in my classroom library. My students love to read and they would love to have a larger selection of books available to them in their classroom library at school! In my third grade classroom, I have students reading books from a kindergarten level to a fifth grade level. Even though the majority of students are reading at a third grade level, many students are not able to access "good fit" books in my classroom library. I would love to be able to provide more books for my students in a variety of genres and reading levels!
