My classroom goal is to make learners have so much fun, they don't realize they are learning! One way I make sure to do exactly that is to us tons of movement and song in my classroom. Research has shown learners retain more and grasp the concept quicker when using music and movement. Learning can be fun! Using this classroom tested multi-sensory method, even preschool age and special needs children can easily learn to identify numbers, shapes, and spell sight words by listening to music and moving with the motions! These DVDs will be used for "brain breaks" for students to have a "break" in learning, but still keep the break educational. Active learning is engaging to many learners.
