It has always been a struggle to find a way to show the students how DNA looks, and how it functions. I would like to use these manipulatives in my high school biology class, to help the students understand and explore the world of DNA. These models allow the students to build the atomically correct version of DNA, follow the base pairing rules, create nucleotides, demonstrate DNA replication, demonstrate protein synthesis, and genetic mutations all in one kit! These models would allow my students to visualize all of the genetic processes, and help them understand how flexible and fluid all of the facets of DNA are.

About my class
