Over the past year my school has embraced a more student-centered approach to learning which has benefitted in more engaged and active learners. This school year our students will be using STEM lessons and resources and these books will help instill a mindset and inspire them to connect literature to science and engineering. These books will bring STEM to life for our school! While the books may be used to introduce a STEM lesson, my hope is that having access to quality literature will inspire our students to think outside the box beyond our STEM lab. The books will provide an opportunity to think about STEM careers, encourage collaboration, discuss a new way of seeing things, and persevere through a challenge.
