Some of the students in our school have decided to do virtual learning the whole semester. Unfortunately, many parents do not have funds to buy the kids' materials for home schooling. I want to provide for them many fun activities that they can do at home and not get behind in their studies. The teachers pay Teachers cards that I have requested will help me buy and download many STEAM activities to send home for all students to work on and enjoy. I want my students to enjoy being part of my class and I want to instill in them a love for Science, Technology ,Art, Engineering and Math. Having the different materials will help my students better understand the concepts that I am trying to teach them., like the parts of the plant, the life cycle of the butterfly, the difference between liquid matter and solid matter etc. They will have materials to do their own Science experiments and will be able to keep up with the students that are doing person to person instruction. My students will have work assigned and that I will be able to grade and they will enjoy doing the activities. This will help my students be better prepared for next school year.
