My K-1 classroom is full of twenty hard working, creative, and energetic children. They make me smile every day. They really have a love of learning that motivates me! I keep my kiddos for two years. We become a "classroom family." In our classroom, we work together on respecting each other, ourselves, and our community. We grow together as learners over time; showing kindness and respect to one another. Many of my students are attending a school setting for the first time when they enter my classroom. The complexity of the children's background range from lack of school experience, a parent in prison, poverty, to just living in a rural setting with limited life experiences. Their needs drive me to seek fun and meaningful learning experiences. I want to help them to reach their full potential regardless of their life beyond the school walls. I want to see all of my babies succeed!
