Our small school is in a very rural area of Pennsylvania. We are a Title I school with more than 50% of the students in the free and reduced lunch socioeconomic status. Opportunities are limited in our rural setting. As an educator in a low-income school district, my students are faced with many challenges both in and outside of school. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to make school a place where they are excited to come (and learn something new) every single day. Engaging them and giving them an advantage in this globally competitive world, is paramount to me.

About my class
