9th-12th grade math and science/makers classroom. Students are provided opportunities to "Make Meaning through Experiences" in both their math and science units. Our students are involved in real world aspects and we believe this sets the stage for interest in STEM careers in college. This is something we have been advocating in our classes and it is foundation of our school! Our students are asked to display not only content skills and knowledge but showcase 21st century skills that are needed to be successful citizens in the communities- we asked of them to use both- Habits of Work and core values.
