Because this work is the graphic adaptation of the 9/11 Commission Report, it gives students the unique opportunity to dive into a government document in a way that is accessible to all students. Not only are all students able to understand the book at their own level, but the format of the book is engaging to students who otherwise might not be interested in the topic. Because this book meets the needs of our diverse learners, it allows for a deeper understanding of the event for all students. When all students are able to gain a deep understanding of important historical events, we are able to have important discussions and debates that include voices that are frequently left out.

About my class
