I want to make my classroom more motivating for students. Research shows that alternative seating has a positive impact on student learning because it allows students the freedom of choosing a seat that is best for them and their learning. These alternative seating options and the freedom of picking a seat best for them will motivate students to pay attention in class, which will increase student success. They also allow students to move about freely in a safe, non distracting manner. The stools will allow students who struggle to sit still during class to move around and "wobble" in their seats without distracting other learners around them. The movable soft seats will be great for students who prefer the floor. They will also be convenient for group work.
