The purpose of this project is to require students to engage in collaboration with their peers, research methods, developing writing skills, providing peer feedback, problem solving, and critical thinking. There is a "real world" aspect to this project which requires students to physically create a board game and draft/film a pitch to persuade the public to purchase their games. Many students struggle with reading and writing and they do not believe in themselves. Students who struggle in "the typical" classroom assessment will be able to show off their skills in design, art, and craftsmanship. This project will allow students to be creative and think outside of the box and create a product of which they can be proud!!

About my class
