The use of Fire Tablets in my classroom, specifically in reading, will be beneficial to my students. A lot of my children struggle with concepts of words and are currently reading below level. With the use of the tablets, students can access applications and websites that provide a variety of tools to enhance their skills. Through the applications, I will be able to monitor progress and provide remediation in areas students struggle with. Children enjoy using laptops, tablets and other technology sources. Providing them with a tablet in the classroom creates a fun learning experience. Due to the lack of resources and tight access to computer labs, having our very own class tablets will help students to avoid limited access and availability and increase the fun as well as their focus during learning! By donating to our project, you will help improve and increase student interest in learning as well as their academic achievement. Students feel more engaged in their learning experiences. We just want to be able to evolve in this technology-driven world. Interacting with any source of technology will enhance their learning and literacy.
