I am very excited for what this project can bring to my students. All of my instruction is based on the science of reading and is presented in a systematic, explicit and multi-sensory manner. I am very inspired to make my literacy instruction come to life in my classroom. This television will work in conjunction with my existing technology to do just that. My goal is to engage each student in the learning process. Each child would be able to interact with me and the lesson materials using the television within the classroom. Additionally, students who are remote learners could Zoom in and receive that direct instruction live within our classroom. They would be able to interact with us live and be able to interact with the lesson materials as well. With the engagement from students that would be accomplished through this project, I expect to continue to see each student grow as they meet their learning goals. Becoming better readers truly opens the door to their overall success as a student! What a blessing it is to take part in that success each and every day!
