This project will serve dual purposes which are as follows: for my student teacher of the spring semester to have a device that will be such a huge asset that can't be quantified in how effective and beneficial to start their education career and it will also be useful to students when we transition to an in-person (hybrid or traditional) setting in which the XP Pen will be set up to a second projector for individual, small group, and large group instruction. The way in which an educator can interact with the XP Pen and their students in a virtual world is invaluable and it is for that reason that I want to provide my student teacher with all the opportunities and resources to make her as successful and comfortable teaching in this online platform as possible. The ability to navigate with ease on the web, the capabilities it provides for communication with writing like being in a classroom using a whiteboard or chalkboard, and the better quality of written text are all reasons that will benefit my student teacher. Teaching in an online platform has presented many challenges, yet, the opportunity to have a means to easily communicate with students and myself, which can increase engagement, will allow for less stress and give an opportunity for the student teacher to focus on the normal concerns of an educator such as lesson development, instruction, and classroom management. Also, this gives the students a smooth transition from me who uses one to a student-teacher that utilizes the same resource, which will allow her to provide a smooth lesson to the student.
